Playtech Live CEO Edo Haitin is set to leave the business after nearly a decade of service.
Haitin (pictured), who first joined Playtech in 2016, announced his departure in a LinkedInpost. Throughout his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s live casino division.
NEXT.iounderstands that Haitin will be leaving Playtech to pursue other career interests and personal projects.
Marat Koss to take over
When contacted, Playtech informed NEXT.iothat Marat Koss will take over the firm’s live casino division, in an expanded role as the company’s new chief interactive gaming officer.
In his prior roles, Koss was instrumental in establishing Playtech’s poker vertical as the industry’s largest B2B poker network and transforming its bingo vertical to drive growth.
“We are delighted that Marat Koss will be taking on responsibility for live casino, in addition to leading the bingo and poker divisions, in an expanded role as Playtech’s new chief interactive gaming officer,” a Playtech spokesperson said.
“Under Marat’s leadership, we are confident that live casino will continue its impressive expansion and deliver sustainable growth in the years ahead.”
“Edo has played an important role in growing live casino into one of Playtech’s strongest verticals. We thank him for his contributions, and wish him well for the future,” the spokesperson added.

Haitin’s legacy at Playtech Live
Since taking on the role of business unit CEO in August 2022, Haitin has spearheaded Playtech Live’s expansion into newly regulated markets, particularly in the United States.
Before assuming the CEO position at Playtech Live, Haitin served as managing director of the live casino division from 2019 to 2022.
Between September 2016 and November 2022, he also held the role of CEO at Euro Live Technologies, a Playtech company, where he strengthened the brand’s foothold in the live gaming sector.
His leadership experience also extends beyond Playtech, having served as CEO of Games OS and as a director at software developer Viaden.
Haitin’s career trajectory also includes a background in law, having practised at Ziv Lev Law Firm in Tel Aviv from 2009 to 2011 before transitioning into the gaming and technology industries.
